Owner/President/Commercial Design Build Project Manager
Terry oversees all divisions and is responsible for business development, marketing, and employee relations. He designs plumbing and HVAC systems, estimates and manages many of the company’s commercial, and design-build projects. He holds Michigan licenses as a Master Plumber, Plumbing Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, and Boiler installer. Terry began his career in mechanical contracting as a Journeyman and later, as a Master Plumber in his family’s plumbing and heating business. He is a past president of the Builders Exchange of Northwest Michigan.
Owner/Commercial Estimator/Project Manager
Jack has been involved in the industry since 1985 in many different roles until accepting the opportunity to work with D&W in 2007. In 2019, with the retirement of one of the founders of the company, he has helped with the reorganization by entering into an ownership role. He continues to support the company as a general manager of operations as well as an estimator and project manager. He is always working to help the growth of D&W Mechanical and the community. Currently, Jack is also president at the Builder’s Exchange of Northwest Michigan. He is also a supporter of local 4-H.
Commercial Project Manager / Estimator
David holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Michigan State University. David spent his early career in the Chemical Industry focusing on maintaining plant assets allowing for uninterrupted production. He now brings this mechanical engineering and maintenance knowledge to D&W where he focuses on Commercial Plumbing and HVAC Design and Installation allowing for long-term longevity and success. David is excited to be back in Traverse City where he hopes to promote innovation in the Construction Industry.
Commercial Estimator / Project Manager
Eric has over 25 years of experience at D&W Mechanical in the commercial plumbing & heating division. The first part as an installer, where he earned his Michigan master plumbing license. He enjoys the challenges along with the creative problem-solving that his job presents him. In his spare time, Eric enjoys outdoor activities, various musical interests, and of course, quality time spent with his family and friends.
Commercial/Residential Designer
Jeff has more than 30 years of experience in the mechanical contracting business. His primary responsibilities are commercial and residential renovation design and sales. Jeff holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and is a state-licensed Mechanical Contractor.
Residential/Commercial Designer and Project Manager
Frank has over 35 years of experience in the plumbing and HVAC industry. This experience includes service, installation, design, sales and management of both plumbing and HVAC. Frank is a State of Michigan licensed Master Plumber and has received numerous certificates of achievement for HVAC design and installation. Frank is a lifetime resident of Northern Michigan and enjoys camping, boating, hunting and other hands-on projects with his family and friends.
Residential Specialist
Todd is a licensed State of Michigan Master Plumber who has worked in plumbing and HVAC since 1996, 23 of those years with D&W Mechanical working as a project foreman in the field. Todd has extensive experience in residential plumbing as well as hot water boiler heating systems working on some of the most elaborate homes in our area. Todd was born and raised in northwest Michigan and enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
Residential Renovation Specialist
Mike has over 15 years of experience in the industry. His roles are design, sales and project management of residential renovation and retro-fit installations. He is WrightSoft Manual J residential load calculation software certified. Factory-trained in installation and service for numerous heating and cooling product lines including Carrier, Rheem, and Mitsubishi. Mike also has universal certification for refrigerant recovery. He is a member of the Homebuilders Association of Northern Michigan.
Residential Sales and Project Manager
Jason has spent is entire career in the construction industry. The last fifteen of which he has specialized in all facets of heating, cooling and boiler retrofits. He enjoys the challenges that come with retrofitting a system to an existing home as well as creating and maintaining relationships with valued customers. In his downtime he enjoys golf, camping, travel and time with family.
Service Manager
Jim has 20 years of field experience in the high tech commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC/R service industry. He is the driving force behind the area’s leading HVAC service provider. Jim is a journeyman HVAC mechanic that prides himself on providing old world craftsmanship with new world technology, all while keeping the customer’s needs as his top priority. Jim and his family truly love living in northern Michigan and take advantage of all the beautiful area has to offer.
